Slots that cut into the side of the barrel provide cooling of the bit. The large segments are packed with diamonds. Expect more holes than any other one you have previously used. Drilling depth is 9". For deeper drilling, just add our bit extension. All our dry core bits come standard with 5/8"-11 threaded nut to fit a 7" right angle grinder or hand held core drill. These bits also work great on your 1/2" rotary drill (just add our adapter AD-1/2-5/8).
